Designer (Part Time)
Description: Waid
Publishing, an innovator in community magazine publishing, is looking
for a talented, creative, self-starting team player to provide
advertising design, magazine layout and general graphic design work for
our community publications and advertising clients.
Base Duties: Ad design,
magazine layout, general graphic design
Additional Duties: Website, postcard, brochure & logo
Design
Location: This position
will be in our Parker Colorado corporate offices.
Job Requirements: The ideal
candidate will be a team player with a willingness to learn and
grow. Adobe CS2 (InDesign, Photoshop, Illustrator) experience is a
must. We are an all PC environment and the candidate must be
comfortable with MS Office and general internet usage.
The candidate will be responsible for graphic design
of magazine ads, layout of community magazines using InDesign and
general graphic design.
We are a small office
and offer a very fun work environment. Casual attire is accepted
as well as flexible work days. Our company is growing fast and
many future opportunities are in the works. We currently publish
four magazines and our longest running publication is 7 years old.
More publications are coming soon.
Must have a winning personality and positive attitude.
Compensation: $12.50 per
hour.
Type: Part-Time (20-25 hours
per week guaranteed) - Flexible schedule
*Regular opportunities for more hours available especially if designer
has experience listed in "additional duties" above.
